The Herben R & D division has released the latest in its line of press ancillaries with its all-new Herben Rotary Blind Embossing Wheels. Herben Numbering Systems have now clocked up well over 30 patented releases in their now 30th year in the trade, and this new design should prove to be just as innovative.

The detailed rotary dies make for a refreshing and innovative finish whilst printing, numbering all at the same time. They can be used to cost effectively produce a fancy pattern, border edge or line or even a customer business logo.

These hardened steel wheels can be utilized in a variety of applications from enhancement to security with exceptional detail. Blind embossing can be produced on some presses and free standing numbering and finishing machines by running these wheels against a thin stick-on disposable rubber blanket at a cost of as little as $1 each, producing many thousands of impressions.

Herben converts the custom artwork for engraving rotary hardened steel embossing dies. The long-life dies can also be made into a two-part die, split and be extended or mixed and matched to incorporate a unique range of patterns to your application.

The basic 5mm wide rotary embossing die fits in-place of the common perforating attachment in seconds to produce a fancy line or company name or logo in a score mode.

The die wheels provide the opportunity for clients to authenticate any security job, gift voucher or ticket. Embossing provides security as it cannot be photocopied but can also hold other security functions.

The security aspect of this system has already attracted a number of overseas prospects to Herben for a variety of applications. Herben invites general Trade enquiries offering a standard range of dies with a ‘made to order’ facility for special applications.
